Taiga Takahashi Lot.720-Raw Indigo Denim Jacket C.1930’S Raw Indigo

Denim jackets from the 1930s are characterized by patch pockets with flaps, a detail that indicated significant quality improvement in an era of scarce resources.
The stitching securing the pleats on the front body has also been reinforced, enhancing its completeness as workwear. The one-pocket design is said to have reached its perfected form during this period.

Furthermore, black lacquer buttons and copper rivets, which were used on lightweight denim at the time, are employed to replicate the highly period-specific specifications.

For the fabric, an original denim developed by analyzing denim from that era is used.
It uses indigo-dyed warp with a green cast and ecru weft, replicating the color while adjusting the yarn count and increasing the number of picks.
Moreover, by adopting a 1/2 right-hand twill weave, it achieves a richer texture different from standard left-hand twill denim.
