This design is based on the 1910s American-made cardigan that is a staple of T.T.
A photograph believed to have been taken in America in the 1910s shows two men wearing newsboy caps and collarless, double-breasted cardigans. While the details of this cardigan include elements often found in French workwear, the photograph itself is said to have been taken in the United States.
We have extracted all visible details as accurately as possible, while redesigning the finer specifications and silhouette through the brand's unique interpretation.
This model features a newly created knit pattern in addition to the standard design. This pattern is based on a cardigan worn by German farmers around 1940. Because the fabric is used with the grain running vertically, it is characterized by the use of the finished knit edge as the hem.
The material is a blend of silk noil and British wool, finished with a dry-touch texture.
