A model based on 1940s British work trousers. Strictly speaking, it features a tag from the "London County Council," indicating its origin as work trousers worn by public works employees.
Work trousers in Britain at the time were often based on overall designs. A distinctive detail is the triangular stitching on the opening of the side pockets.
The fabric used is the same Supima twill featured in Taiga Takahashi's first collection. It is a 3/1 left-hand twill that recreates the American military fabric used during World War I in the 1910s, finished with a smooth touch.
Furthermore, each piece has been garment-dyed with sumi ink and mud to achieve a worn-in appearance.
