Original material woven in a Bishu region textile mill.
This is a plain weave fabric made from medium-fine hemp yarn, woven at the absolute highest possible density for both warp and weft.
After weaving, the fabric undergoes a Nidom process, intentionally shrinking it significantly to create a unique uneven surface.
During this process, the surface is rubbed, softening the fibers and resulting in a moist, brushed-like texture.
Although initially a stiff, canvas-like fabric when woven at high density, the Nidom process transforms it into a texture reminiscent of vintage fabric that has been cherished for many years.
