Engineer pants based on work pants manufactured by "Can't Bust 'Em" in the 1940s. Since the fabrics of the time were not durable enough to withstand hard labor, each pocket is reinforced with a patch of fabric to act as a rivet for jeans. The silhouette is deep in the crotch and wide from the crotch to the hem. The material used is an original twisted whipcord fabric created by studying and analyzing vintage swatches from the 1940s. The name “whipcord” is derived from the thick ridges that resemble the whipcord of a horseback rider. The reverse side has a slightly raised surface.
