Brand by designer Edwina Hörl from Salzburg, Austria.
The brand was founded in Vienna in 1996 and moved its studio to Tokyo in 2000.
They have two lines: Edwina Hörl "brand new", an exploration of a sustainable future, and dauerbrenner "classics", a timeless collection line.
Inspired by the different cultures and societies around us, the tags feature essays by a diverse range of authors.
Many of the silhouettes are open and free from gender and age barriers, giving the wearer a sense of comfort.
Another feature of the brand is that it incorporates transnational cultural inheritance into its designs, for example by using textiles and techniques that have long been rooted in different parts of the world.
