Taiga Takahashi Lot.104-Beige Band Collar Shirt Beige

A band-collar shirt based on a 1910s dress shirt found in New York. At the time, white shirts (plain white dress shirts) were considered a symbol of elegance, and owning multiple shirts was a status symbol for the wealthy.

Meanwhile, for those who only owned the bare minimum number of shirts, detachable collars emerged, allowing the collar to be removed and used separately. This made it possible to keep the shirt clean by washing only the collar.

While three-dimensional patterns were mainstream in the 1910s, this shirt has a very distinctive structure. Its linear construction stands out, with straight shoulder lines that lack a shoulder slope, tight armholes, and sleeves set straight. This pattern is combined with a band collar specification that evokes the lost collar, incorporating it into the design.

The fabric is a blend of lyocell and cotton, treated with bio-fibril processing for a brushed finish, creating a matte texture reminiscent of vintage clothing.
