The leather is high-quality, unpolished cowhide that has been tanned using Kawanishi Tanning, a process that takes more than twice as much time and effort as usual from the raw material preparation stage, and involves careful pre-treatment by washing, liming, and de-liming.
Dyeing and fattening are done twice, giving it a rich color, a high-quality soft feel, and a refined look. Currently, there are only about 10 tanneries that faithfully follow the Kawanishi tanning method.
The leather, which is finished through deep tanning and multiple dyeing and oiling processes, is very soft and has a deep color, so it does not require many processes such as coloring and painting.
The more you wear it, the deeper the color will become and the softer it will feel against your skin. It will gradually become more comfortable to wear and change over time.
