YS's classic regular collar shirt.
While it has an elegant pattern making that is reminiscent of a dress shirt, it also features a moderately dropped shoulder line, a relaxed and wide body width, and a loose fit.
Starting this season, we have reviewed the silhouette of each piece, and while maintaining the usual relaxed silhouette, we have focused on making patterns that are more elegant.
*Striped fabric.
This is an original material, woven using old-fashioned looms at a historic weaving shop in the Enshu region.
A classic and rustic striped and checked shirt fabric, using GIZA100/2 cotton for the warp and a cotton silk blend for the weft.
By using extra-long staple cotton for the warp and a silk blend for the weft, the fabric has a moderate luster that gives it a more luxurious feel than ordinary cotton materials.
The yarn used to cut the stripes and checks is twisted and heathered, so it doesn't look too sharp and combines with the ground to create a subtle pattern.
The finishing wash process gives it a soft look, but by using a batiste standard, which has a denser weft thread than broadcloth, the material does not sag.
