Taiga Takahashi Lot.006 Newbay Cap MELANGE CHARCOAL

This cap is based on a newsboy cap from the early 1900s that was found in the warehouse of an antique dealer in New Jersey, but the silhouette and volume have been reconstructed with a sharper look.
It is also called the "newsboy cap" because it was worn by newspaper boys in 19th century America.
The fabric is an original clawfoot tweed inspired by deadstock from nearly 100 years ago, made with Shetland wool to recreate the look of dry wool, and linen for the weft.
The yarn is blended with various colors to create a deep hue.
