The warp thread is a thick double-yarn khadi that is the same as 551F34 (Khadi Wool Herringbone), and the weft thread is a thick single-yarn khadi, making this an original fabric. It is machine-woven, so it has a stable strength, but also has the rustic texture that can only be achieved with hand-spun yarn. Both the fabric and the sewing are made in India.
It is based on Lenten pants (inspired by the costume of the Lenten ethnic minority group), which feature a triangular gusset at the crotch.
