This band collar shirt is based on a dress shirt from the 1910s found in New York City. At the time, white shirts (plain white dress shirts) were considered the epitome of elegance, and owning a certain number of them was a status symbol for wealthy people. For those who had only the minimum number of shirts, detachable collars were introduced, making it possible to wear white shirts by washing only the collar for daily use. In the 1910s, when three-dimensional patterns were the norm, the construction of this shirt was quite rare and specific. It is formed by a pattern with many straight lines, such as shoulder lines with no shoulder slope, armholes with full sides, and straight sleeves. This shirt is designed with that straight-line pattern and the band collar in its original state. The material is cotton flannel using yarn-dyed yarn. It has a smooth hand feel and gentle warmth due to a slightly brushed finish on both sides. Additionally, it is finished with a unique texture by applying product over-dye.
