This material is woven on an old-fashioned loom at a historic weaving shop in the Bishu region. It is a plain weave fabric made by alternating between worsted and worsted yarns made from 100% British wool. British wool has a strong crimp, firmness, and bulkiness, and is characterized by a warm, bouncy texture. Although it is a firm tweed fabric, the combination with worsted yarn gives it a soft feel. This tweed fabric has a rugged, rough and sophisticated look, and a unique coloring that is a mixture of various colors.
