The fabric is an original material, woven using old-fashioned looms at a historic weaving shop in the Fujiyoshida region.
This fabric is made using warp and warp spun yarns, which is rare in the Fujiyoshida region, which specializes in filaments.
The warp threads are made of rare extra-long staple GIZA9 6 1 4 0/2 gas burnt yarn, giving the fabric a beautiful, fuzz-free texture.
The weft thread is made of 1 0 0/1 ramie, which has fewer knots and longer fibre length than linen, and is woven at the highest density to give the fabric tension and luster.
